CDC Announcement

Have no fear. We’ve got your back!

This week, the CDC announced new requirements for travelers entering the United States:

Before departure to the United States, a required test, combined with the CDC recommendations to get tested again 3-5 days after arrival and stay home for 7 days post-travel, will help slow the spread of COVID-19 within US communities from travel-related infections. Pre-departure testing with results known and acted upon before travel begins will help identify infected travelers before they board airplanes.

This, of course, greatly impacts our industry, as places like the Caribbean are scrambling to ensure they can accommodate the new requirements. How will you address this with your clients? What are your (and their risks)? Should they cancel their plans as a result? What can travel agents do to allay their clients’ fears, while ensuring they are providing accurate and the most current information, as well as top-notch customer service?

Not to worry! TIS has you covered! We are on top of this, so you won’t have to fret about obsessively keeping up with any legal matters that may impact your agency. Our Travel Advisory Pandemic Waiver is part of our Solutions Packs for both owners and advisors. TIS will alert you if we make changes to the waiver, so that you can stay ahead of the COVID curve. That’s just one of the many great benefits of being a TIS subscriber!
