Travel Trust Index / Bring Verification to Your Network / Tour Operators, DMCs & Cruise Lines
Behind every itinerary

Your trip depends on more than your own business.

Transport companies, local operators, accommodation providers, shore-excursion operators, port transportation providers, and local destination partners all contribute to the experience you sell. Your relationship with each one matters. So does knowing the business behind it.

TTI brings independent business checks, credit risk ratings, and supplier-provided information into a shared reference point for your supplier reviews. Your own verified profile also gives other travel businesses a clearer starting point when considering your company.

01 / VISIBILITY

See your network more clearly.

Track verification statuses across the suppliers your organization works with through a dedicated network dashboard.

02 / CONSISTENCY

Start from shared information.

Review business checks, insurance information, and booking terms without rebuilding the same information package for each relationship.

03 / FOLLOW-UP

Know what needs a closer look.

Use available statuses and information gaps to guide questions, request clarification, and support your own approval decisions.

A preferred relationship is a starting point for review.

Supplier discovery & network review

Review your supplier network.
Find new businesses to consider.

Start with the businesses that deliver your tours, destination services, shore excursions, and guest transportation. A dedicated network dashboard brings their verification statuses together to support onboarding, regular review, and follow-up.

You can also discover verified suppliers to consider for new requirements. Review the available business information, assess the fit, and decide which relationships to pursue.

You retain your supplier relationships and negotiate your agreements and commercial terms directly. Your organization sets its requirements and makes its own approval decisions. TTI provides business information to support that process.

Your supplier may use another supplier.

Ask who will actually deliver the service. A check on the company you contract with does not automatically cover its subcontractors or replacement providers.

Look into the business

Business information with clear sources.

Business verification and credit risk information come from an independent verification provider. Services, insurance details, booking terms, and optional self-assessments are supplied by the business.

TTI distinguishes between those sources so your team can see what it is reviewing and decide what else it needs to ask.

Clear sources. Clear statuses.

Business verification

Review the results of defined business checks.

Credit risk rating

Review available, independently provided business credit risk ratings.

Risk signals

Review screening statuses and potential items that may warrant follow-up.

Monitoring status

See whether ongoing monitoring is active, where available.

Insurance information

Review supplier-reported coverage details and certificate status.

Booking terms

Review published terms as part of your commercial evaluation.

Available checks and monitoring vary by country and data availability. Business verification does not establish the safety or quality of a service.

When you are both a supplier and a buyer

Two roles.
Two distinct needs.

Your own business profile and a dashboard for your supplier network serve different purposes.

YOUR BUSINESS

Help buyers evaluate you.

Get your own business verified and bring your services, destinations, business information, verification statuses, and booking terms together in one supplier profile. Buyers can find your company in TTI once verification is complete. A shared profile supports review by prospective and existing partners.

Your questions answered

What to know
before you begin.

Who is this for?

Tour operators, destination management companies, cruise lines, and other businesses that rely on a network of suppliers to deliver travel services.

How is a network dashboard different from a supplier profile?

A supplier profile helps other businesses evaluate your company. A dedicated network dashboard helps your organization track verification across the suppliers it uses. You can discuss both, but they serve different needs.

Can buyers find our business before verification is complete?

No. Your business must complete verification before buyers can find it in the Travel Trust Index. Verification provides defined business-check results; it does not endorse your services or guarantee bookings.

Can we start with suppliers we already use?

Yes. Discuss the businesses in your network, countries, services, supplier participation, and available checks with TTI. Your dashboard supports review of available verification statuses across that agreed supplier network.

Does TTI approve suppliers for us?

No. Your organization sets its own requirements and decides which suppliers to use. TTI provides defined business-check results and supplier-provided information to support your review. It does not endorse suppliers or guarantee outcomes.

Does verification cover safety and service quality?

No. Business verification does not certify vehicles, equipment, guides, excursions, or operating practices. Continue your own safety, operational, and service-quality reviews. Any supplier safety and operations self-assessment is supplier-provided.

Are subcontractors automatically covered?

No. Verification relates to the business checked. If a supplier uses another business to deliver a service, ask who that business is and what checks have been completed. Discuss separately which businesses should be included in your network review.

Does TTI verify that insurance meets our requirements?

No. Insurance information is supplier-reported. TTI reviews submitted certificates for readability and publication completeness. It does not confirm coverage with insurers or assess adequacy. Confirm coverage meets your and your clients’ needs with the supplier.

Will every supplier have the same checks and monitoring?

No. Available checks and monitoring vary by country and data availability. Ongoing monitoring, where available, helps keep verification and risk information current.

Can a supplier use one profile with multiple organizations?

Yes. A supplier can maintain one TTI profile for multiple business partners to review, helping reduce repeated information gathering. Each organization may still require additional information or checks.
