Add value through business verification

01 Support your members.
02 Encourage verification.
03 Keep your standards.

Your association. Your mission. More information.

Build on the value of membership

Give your community
more to go on.

Your association brings businesses and travel professionals together around a shared purpose. TTI can complement that work by helping supplier members present independent business verification and helping buyers evaluate the businesses they may work with.

Your association retains its membership criteria, standards, and decisions. TTI provides defined business checks and clearly identified supplier information.

01 / SUPPLIER MEMBERS

Help members present their businesses.

Encourage supplier members to maintain a TTI profile that brings verification statuses and business information together for prospective partners.

02 / BUYING MEMBERS

Support informed supplier decisions.

Help advisor, agency, and other buying members discover verified suppliers and understand the information available before starting a relationship.

03 / YOUR ASSOCIATION

Complement your existing standards.

Explore how independent business verification can support your member resources and initiatives while preserving your own requirements.

Membership and business verification tell different parts of the story.

A program shaped around your mission

Start with the members
you serve.

Whether your membership includes suppliers, travel sellers, or both, the goal is to make business information more useful to your community.

Discuss how supplier verification, member education, and discovery can fit into your existing programs. Participation arrangements and any association-specific benefits are agreed separately.

Your membership decisions.
Your standards.

TTI complements your association’s work. It does not award membership, decide who meets your standards, or turn business verification into an association endorsement.

Example supplier profile. Available information varies by supplier and country.

Know what is being reviewed

Independent checks.
Clearly identified sources.

Business verification and credit risk information come from an independent verification provider. Services, insurance details, booking terms, and optional self-assessments are supplied by the business.

TTI distinguishes between those sources so members can understand the information and decide what else they need to ask.

One supplier profile. Useful across business relationships.

Business verification

Review the results of defined business checks.

Credit risk

Consider available, independently provided business credit risk information.

Risk signals

Review available screening statuses and items that may warrant follow-up.

Monitoring status

See whether ongoing monitoring is active, where available.

Insurance information

Review supplier-reported coverage details and certificate status.

Booking terms

Consider published terms as part of evaluating a business relationship.

Available checks and monitoring vary by country and data availability. Business verification does not certify safety, service quality, or suitability for a particular booking.

Build the right association program

Explore what fits
your membership.

The program should reflect your association’s mission, membership structure, and existing resources.

MEMBER RECOGNITION & DISCOVERY

Explore how membership is represented.

Discuss association membership badges or connections with your member directory. Any display would need to distinguish association membership from TTI business verification.

Badge use, directory connections, and any technical integration require a separately agreed scope.

PARTICIPATION & REFERRALS

Define a program your members can understand.

Discuss supplier participation, onboarding communications, and any agreed member benefits or referral arrangement.

Commercial arrangements do not change the results of independent business checks or your association’s membership decisions.

Members that manage their own supplier networks can separately discuss a dedicated compliance dashboard with TTI. An association program does not automatically give the association access to members’ supplier networks.

Start with your goals

Make verification useful
to your community.

Begin with the members you want to support and the outcomes that matter to your association.

01

Define the member need.

Discuss your supplier and buying members, existing standards, and the information gaps you want to address.

02

Agree on the program.

Clarify participation, onboarding, member communications, and any proposed recognition or referral arrangements.

03

Introduce it clearly.

Help members understand how to participate, what verification means, and how to use the information in their own decisions.

Your questions answered

What to know
before you begin.

Who is this for?

Professional and trade associations whose membership includes travel suppliers, advisors, agencies, or other travel businesses. Programs can be discussed around the needs of supplier members, buying members, or both.

Does verification replace our membership requirements?

No. Your association retains its own membership criteria, professional standards, and decisions. TTI business verification is a separate source of information that can complement your work.

Does a verified supplier become endorsed by our association?

No. TTI verification does not create an association endorsement or guarantee outcomes. Association membership and the results of business checks should be represented as separate information.

Can members find suppliers that have not completed verification?

No. Suppliers must complete verification before buyers can find them in the Travel Trust Index.

Is everything on a profile independently verified?

No. Business verification and credit risk information come from an independent verification provider. Services, insurance details, booking terms, and self-assessments are supplied by the business. TTI clearly distinguishes between the two. Available checks and monitoring vary by country and data availability.

Can a supplier use the same profile with several organizations?

Yes. A supplier can maintain one TTI profile for multiple business partners to review, helping reduce repeated information gathering. Each organization may still require additional information or checks.

Can we offer membership badges, directory connections, or referral benefits?

These can be discussed as part of an association program. Availability, eligibility, display permissions, technical requirements, and commercial terms must be agreed separately.

Can our members use compliance dashboards?

Members that manage supplier networks can discuss dedicated dashboards for their own organizations. Dashboard access and scope are separate from the association program and the member’s own supplier profile.
